Create "Vandalized
Denim", fashion's
newest cutting-edge trend
using Fiber
Etch Fiber Remover, Denimolition-style.
Denimolition is
a quirky and colorful mix of
retro imagery and headlines
paired with original art and
contemporary elements, vandalized
with broad graffiti brush strokes,
wine spills, tiny holes, abraded
swaths, and finger smudges.
It's a fun way to use Fiber
Etch to express your own unique
style on a pair of denim jeans,
a jacket, or a t-shirt.
All You Do Is
- Apply tiny dots
of Fiber Etch gel and allow
to penetrate into the denim.
- Fold denim garment, time
for 20 minutes, and place
on a piece of aluminum foil
into a 225 degree oven.
- Remove
from oven and place in washer
to reveal the Denimolition results.
- Tiny dots will make small
holes. If larger, threadbare
areas are desired, apply
Fiber Etch gel in a series
of very fine, horizontal
lines spaced 1/2" or
so apart.
Many canvas-type
shoes can also be
etched to reveal the shoes'
lining. Apply Fiber Etch
gel and allow to absorb into
the canvas fabric. Place
in 225 degree oven for 25
minutes. Remove from oven
and place under faucet, vigorously
brushing treated areas with
a fingernail brush to reveal
etched areas.
Denimolitionize a
cotton/poly t-shirt with graffiti,
or personalize with your name
(oven setting: 200 degrees
for 15 minutes). When washed,
etched areas appear magically.
To Fray or Not
to Fray
For more fray,
wash on heavy duty cycle and
place in tumble dryer. For
less fray, use smaller holes. Do
not mix Fiber Etch
with bleach or any other chemicals. |
